Cloud-Edge-End Collaborative Computing: Methods and Applications / 云边端协同计算:方法与应用
The emerging cloud-edge-end computing is envisioned as the next generation dominant computing paradigm. Nowadays, the investigations on cloud-edge-end collaborative computing have been a fertile research field of significant impact, while there are yet a massive number of critical challenges need to be tackled. For instance, the scalable architecture design and implementations, light-weight network virtualization, energy-aware sustainable resource allocation, fault-tolerant computation offloading, security, and privacy protection, and other important concerns have not been well addressed and fully taken into consideration in current research works. This special session is expected to promote the state-of-the-art research covering all aspects of design, optimization, implementation, and evaluation of advanced cloud-edge-end solutions, as well as in-depth case studies demonstrating how to model and optimize system performance for cloud-edge-end collaborative computing.
Topics:
1. Cloud-edge-end collaboration performance analysis
2. Security and privacy in cloud-edge-end collaboration
3. Cloud-edge-end collaboration-enabled computing system designs
4. Cloud-edge-end collaboration-enabled framework designs
5. Task offloading and scheduling schemes for cloud-edge-end collaborative computing
6. Data processing algorithms for cloud-edge-end collaborative computing
7. Communication and network protocols for cloud-edge-end collaborative computing
8. Heterogeneous resource management for cloud-edge-end collaborative computing
9. Sensing technologies for cloud-edge-end collaborative computing
10. Inference technologies for cloud-edge-end collaborative computing
